Where are you from and what brought you to the Minneapolis area? I’ve always lived here, and in all my travels I’ve never seen a place I like better 🙂

Do you have any fun or interesting hobbies? Too many to count 🙂

How in the heck did you get into screen printing?  It’s part of my journey into making clothes. I’ve been sewing since I was 8, after I read Little House on the Prairie I sat down and taught myself. And I’ve been picking up techniques and making stuff for myself and friends ever since. One night I got a phone call that my friend’s band booked a show with a national act and could I print them a line of merchandise by tomorrow. I was game, I recruited another friend who had done it before, got their screen, and basic supplies, and we printed late into the night on anything I had that would hold ink. I’ve been fascinated ever since.

Do you have a favorite type of screen printing? Textile techniques are like my children, I couldn’t pick a favorite

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Chubby Hubby, pretzel peanut butter, and chocolate.

Who would win in a fight between a taco and a grilled cheese? Taco! It’s sort of mouth shaped like wind-up teeth I can see it coming to life and eating the grilled cheese. CHOMP CHOMP. Then I would kill it and eat it.

If you could be a monkey, what type of monkey would you be? Bonobo? Or is that an ape?
